Tags

Whenever you create a new piece of content, you have the option to assign it a Tag. The example below shows what a set of tags could look like for a lifestyle brand.

Tags can group content across categories but are invisible to viewers. They are used internally by the Related Content engine to recommend content to users.

When a user accesses content belonging to one category, at the bottom of the page, in Recommended to You, the platform will show them other content with the same tag, even if they are from a different category.

Promotion Only Tags

The Promotions Only option, when selecting tags, means your tag will be used to relate the promotions and content, but it won't relate pieces of content to each other. This means that the promotion will not signal Related Content.

On the other hand, when you create a tag for a promo normally, it will signal Related Content and create recommendations accordingly.

By utilizing tags effectively, you can enhance the browsing experience for your users, ensuring they discover more relevant and engaging content across different categories. Tags provide a powerful tool to connect and guide users through your platform, increasing their overall satisfaction.
