How to Set Up a Custom Domain

When you create your StoryPRO website, you will be assigned a standard domain name such as storypro-123456-herokuapp.com. If you want to use a custom domain, you will need to either use an existing domain you own or purchase one from a domain provider.

Connecting Your Custom Domain

If you have already purchased a URL that you want to use for your StoryPRO website, you can connect it from your main account by navigating to the Domain tab.

After you have saved your domain name, you can find your DNS Target on the Domain tab.

It may take up to 48 hours for this step to be applied by your domain provider. During this time, you may not be able to see your live site or it may appear without the latest changes.

Verifying Your Domain Connection

Once your site is connected, you will see the Domain Status updated in the Domain tab on your account management screen from Pending to Active**.

By following these steps, you can connect your custom domain to your StoryPRO website and make it easier for your audience to find and access your content.
