User Roles
A crucial aspect of maintaining a thriving online platform is effective user management. StoryPRO allows you to designate distinct roles and permissions to each user, ensuring they possess the appropriate level of access and capabilities.
Understanding User Roles
In StoryPRO, there are four main user roles:
Admin
Admins have the highest level of control over the platform. They have complete permissions to create content, moderate comments, ban users, edit user roles, and modify site settings. Because of their extensive power, Admins should be individuals you trust with high-level responsibilities.
Editor
Editors have permission to create, content, and moderate comments, as well as ban or verify users. They contribute to the platform's content and uphold the guidelines and standards set by the organization.
Member
Members can create a user profile page and leave comments. As the most basic users on the platform, they form the largest user group. They can interact with the content and the community but do not have content creation or moderation rights.
Banned
Users assigned this role can't interact with the platform. If a user violates the terms of use or code of conduct, banning them safeguards the community's safety and well-being.
